At Mikey’s Taco Shop, a charming hole-in-the-wall spot in NW Calgary, you’ll find great tacos that are worth a try. As someone who isn’t particularly fond of Mexican cuisine, I’ve only been truly impressed by Tacomio in Vancouver. However, Mikey’s Taco Shop stands out, offering a better experience than the average Blanco’s Cantina, though still not quite at Tacomio’s level. The fresh tortillas and flavorful meats make for a delicious meal, albeit nothing extraordinary. With reasonable prices, it’s a solid option when you’re craving tacos. Do note that they only offer takeout at this NW location.
