  • reviewing Alloy again since it’s been a while and I got to try some items on the menu I didn’t try before
  • this time I was even more impressed by everything that I tried except for the steak as it was a little too tough of a cut and the grilled cheese tortilla it layered on wasn’t good at all
  • other than that the pork belly great but the portion is just too small and the beef carpaccio was incredible
  • the drinks were also really really good and actually pretty strong too
  • This place definitely know what they’re best at and it’s a refreshing change from the more recent innovative places that have opened in Calgary
  • The cocktail menu is comprehensive and caters to everyone’s taste
  • The truffle gnocchi is a must try, so creamy and has a nice balance of flavours and textures, especially with a nice hint of truffle
  • The NY steak is solid, nothing super special, but as mentioned previously, a nice balance of flavours and textures
  • The pork tenderloin was also good but the portion could be a slight bit larger
  • Honestly, my favourite part of this dinner was the ambiance of the restaurant, super open and a good vibe
  • At the time they didn’t open their outdoor section of the restaurant but it looked really really nice
  • Pork Tenderloin, NY Steak, Truffle Gnocchi, (I forgot the cocktails we had but the pineapple pina colada looking one was AMAZING)
