Super innovative and modern Vietnamese restaurant that just recently opened its doors in YYC
Overall, incredible dishes in which some are similar to @phodaubo, but that’s not a bad thing since it is the staple Vietnamese restaurant of YYC
One thing I didn’t enjoy as much as I’d liked was the Popcorn Quail
Since quails aren’t as naturally meaty as other birds like chickens, you really have to work for your food with this dish and the vinaigrette based sauce that they have paired wasn’t mine or Rohan’s personal cup of tea
The good news is that they’re constantly listening to customer feedback and changing their menu
The soup dishes we tried are again, very similar to @phodaubo and thus, amazing
This was my first time trying the Oxtail Stew Pho and it’s the best I’ve had, hearty, meaty and great for those colder days
The Chicken Wings glazed with caramelized fish sauce was the one delightfully surprising dish that so light on the flavour, but so rich in texture and meat
Popcorn Quail, Chicken Wings, Spicy Peanut Soup, Oxtail Soup Pho
