- As a top 100 restaurant in Canada determined by OpenTable, Carino offers superb Japanese Italian fusion dishes
- Tagliatelle Rosé was amazing, the noodle was al dente, super creamy sauce, and decently well-balanced flavours
- I do wish that the Italian sausage was replaced by another more delicate meat because it just felt too heavy with the sausage
- The spicy mussel hotpot was alright at best in my opinion, as there just wasn’t much sustenance to the dish
- The fries in this dish just don’t go too well with the saucy type hotpot and I would’ve preferred some plain breads to suck up the hot pot base
- The Curry Carbonara Katsu special was very disappointing as the noodle was rock hard, and the Katsu was dry and pretty tough
- The Sakura parfait was amazingly light yet flavourful and the cheesecake was decent but I expected it to be a little more creamy
- Overall, stick to the regular menu items, and get their seasonal parfaits
